Pfc. Juvon Williams, 19, of Columbus, Ohio, had a warrant out for his arrest for the murder of his girlfriend.
The search for Williams came after police found her body in the trunk of a car Thursday evening.
Williams was an AH-64 Apache helicopter repairer with Company D, 1st Battalion, 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade.
Williams joined the Army in August 2010. He completed Basic Combat Training at Fort Jackson, S.C, and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Eustis, Va., before being assigned to Fort Bragg in March 2011.
His awards and decorations include the National Defense Service Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal and the Army Service Ribbon.
Williams is survived by his mother and father, Dionne and Lloyd, of Columbus, Ohio.
The incident is currently under investigation.
