A spokesperson said two people were hurt in the incident around 2:30 a.m. which occurred in the parking lot of the Kangaroo Express at University Mall.
The shooting victims - who were not identified - were treated for non-life threatening injuries at UNC Hospital.

Calls to Crime Stoppers are confidential and anonymous, and the caller may be eligible for a cash reward up to $2,000 for information that leads to arrest.
