According to police, all three victims were taken to the hospital in three separate ambulances.
One of those victims, a 73-year-old woman, later died.
Neither the victims' nor the driver's names have been released.
Investigators are trying to determine whether, 95-year-old Benjamin Moye, was at fault or if an equipment failure was the cause.
Moye was not injured.
The other two victims were listed in good condition at Johnston Medical Center Sunday.
