It happened in an area where school buses are parked just before 9 a.m. between Guy Road and Amelia Church Rd.
Investigators said bus driver Angela Dixon, 46, had parked and gotten out of her vehicle when it started rolling. She apparently tried to get in and stop it when she fell and was hurt.
Her vehicle kept rolling until it hit a fuel truck owned by the Johnston County Board of Education.
Dixon was taken to WakeMed with non-life threatening injuries. She was last listed in fair condition. No one else was hurt and no charges were filed.
