Jennifer Lynne Green-Lee is accused of embezzling over $1 million from her clients in a two-month period.
On Monday, Green-Lee was named in a 13-count criminal indictment by a Johnston County grand jury.
Last month, the 39-year-old attorney surrendered her law license and was disbarred by the Wake County Superior Court after she admitted she misappropriated entrusted funds.
According to indictments, Green-Lee is accused of taking a total of $1,123,993.00 from former clients between March and May 2011.
Green-Lee was arrested Tuesday and charged with embezzlement.
