A Food Lion grocery store in Cary will soon be closing its doors for good.

The company announced Thursday it plans to close 113 underperforming stores. It will also convert 64 Bloom and Bottom Dollar food stores in Maryland, North Carolina and Virginia to Food Lion stores.

The Triangle Business Journal reports the Food Lion in the 900 block of North Harrison Avenue in Cary will close. It's the only one in the Triangle to do so.
