It happened just after 7 p.m. on Monday.
When officers arrived, they said they found Jose Fernando Garcia, 47, of 1444 Sedwick Road, lying inside a house. He had been shot and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Warrants have been issued charging Christopher Herrera Posada, 20, of 1444 Sedwick Road, with murder. Posada is the son of Garcia's girlfriend. Posada may be driving a 2-door, gray 2004 Honda Civic with North Carolina license plate ZXP-4649.
