Fire significantly damages Orange County house

CHAPEL HILL

No one was home at the time the fire broke out.

The fire was reported at 4:02 p.m. and the Chapel Hill Fire Department was the first to arrive on the scene

They said the flames had burned through the roof of the house.

The house has five bedrooms and is over 4,100 square feet.

Crews quickly brought the fire under control and no injuries were reported

The owners said they did not know how or where the fire started.
