Curtis Van Bryant, of 2624 Sanderford Road, was charged with three counts of misdemeanor child abuse Saturday.
According to the arrest warrant, Bryant left his daughter and two stepsons, ages 10 and 13, home alone. Neighbors found the two year old walking in the street without shoes and wearing only a dirty diaper.
The toddler had vomited on herself and was rushed to WakeMed where she was treated and released.
Documents stated that Bryant's house "reeked of marijuana" and small amounts of marijuana and paraphernalia were found inside.
On Sunday, Bryant remained in the Wake County Jail on a $15,000 bond.
