Thirty-four-year Jason Brandon Hoyle faces two felony counts of promoting the prostitution of a minor and participating in the prostitution of a minor.
Also arrested was 17-year-old Tiara Michelle Bradshaw, of the 800 Block of Durwood Dr, Fayetteville. Police described Hoyle as Bradshaw's client.
Bradshaw was charged with misdemeanor solicitation for prostitution.
Hoyle has been employed by the Raleigh Police Department since October 2000 and is assigned to the Detective Division as a sergeant.
An RPD spokesperson declined to say if he was still on the job.
Hoyle's bond was set at $100,000.
