Suspects sought in jewelry store heist

RALEIGH

It happened Friday shortly after 10 a.m. in the 400 block of Daniels Street in the Cameron Village shopping center.

Police say three men entered the store while a fourth remained in the vehicle used during the crime.

That car, which was stolen from Bobby Murray Chevrolet, was later found abandoned in the parking lot of the YMCA on Hillsborough Street. The suspects were then seen getting into a dark colored van.

Right now, descriptions of the suspects are not available.

Anyone with information that might assist detectives investigating the robbery is asked to call Raleigh CrimeStoppers at (919) 834-HELP.

The Bailey's store reopened around 2:30 p.m.
