Police said 31-year-old Lemar Raymon Dasher robbed the RBC Bank on U.S. Highway 70 in Garner and took off in a stolen minivan Tuesday afternoon.
Police arrested him Wednesday in Baltimore.
Dasher will face robbery charges in Garner as well as charges in Raleigh concerning the theft of the van.
He remains in Maryland awaiting extradition back to North Carolina.
Police say this is the second time Dasher has robbed the same branch of RBC Bank. Dasher was charged and convicted for robbery in 2008.
