Police say 18-year-old Bryce Scott was found inside his off-campus apartment Friday morning.
Scott was a member of the Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity at UNCW.
The frat's president said Scott's death is not linked to any type of hazing, but authorities haven't yet said how Scott died.
An autopsy is being done now to determine the cause of death.
Frat members are planning a fundraiser to help Scott's family.
