It happened Tuesday around 2:45 a.m. in the 6200 block of Yadkin Road.

Police said they found a 51-year-old victim at the scene with a gunshot wound to the leg.
The victim -- whose name has not been released -- told officers that the two suspects took personal items, then fled the scene.
Fayetteville Police Department Public Information Officer Gavin MacRoberts said the victim was later taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center for treatment.
Further details about the incident have not been released.
