Surveillance video released in Apex bank robbery

Police are looking for the man who allegedly robbed a BB&T bank on Beaver Creek Commons Drive just after 9 a.m. Thursday morning.

Investigators said the suspect entered the bank, brandished a handgun, and demanded money from the teller. He then took the keys of a bank employee and fled in their pickup truck. The vehicle was found abandoned behind the movie theater at Beaver Creek.

The man - who was wearing a black shirt or pull over, jeans, and a black ski mask - arrived at the bank on a bicycle.

No one was hurt.
