FOUR OAKS, N.C. --
Traffic on Interstate 95 had to be shut down for a short time Wednesday evening after a brush fire broke out following storms.
Heavy smoke forced authorities to shut down a portion of I-95 near Four Oaks in Johnston County.
Firefighters believe a lightning strike sparked the fire.
The road was closed down for a few hours while the flames were doused. It has since reopened.
