When authorities arrived, they discovered the bodies of two men and a woman. The dead have been identified as 80-year-old Doris Robinson, 65-year-old Lewis Robinson, and 30-year-old Bobby Joe Bullard.

Investigators said Bullard went to the elder Robinson's home to confront his girlfriend, 25-year-old Loretta Robinson. The elder Robinson refused to let Bullard in to her home as she feared for Loretta's safety. Bullard reportedly became angry and began shooting his firearm, fatally wounding Loretta's grandmother and uncle.

Bullard then ran from the property on to the roadway and fired a single shot to his head, and died on the scene.

An autopsy will be performed.
