Raleigh ends water restrictions

RALEIGH

The council's vote was unanimous.

The measure eliminated "odd-even" lawn watering, allowing homeowners to water every day.

Officials said Tuesday that the city's water supply reached capacity, and normal rainfall was predicted by weather forecasters for the summer.

However, Raleigh and its surrounding areas continue to be under moderate drought conditions.
