The investigation found two online postings about the verdict were entirely false and made up. Those bogus posts indicated how the jury was voting.
Another incident involving an encounter with a juror in a restaurant was also investigated. It was determined that the juror, who was an alternate, did not discuss the case.
In the end, the jury convicted Young of first-degree murder in the death of his wife.
Young is currently serving a sentence of life in prison.
