Authorities in Fayetteville are searching for a 16 year old in connection with a breaking and entering involving three other suspects Thursday night.

Around 7 p.m., Fayetteville police received a call about the break-in in the 7000 block of Calamar Drive. While responding to the crime, an officer spotted the suspects' vehicle -- a 2012 Nissan Maxima -- and attempted to stop them.

The driver drove into a nearby yard and three men -- 16-year-old Kenneth Devaughn Johnson, 17-year-old Rashard Briggs and 23-year-old Christopher Smith -- got out and took off running, while a fourth suspect, 30-year-old Angela Smith, got out and stood by the car.

Police arrested Angela Smith and put out a BOLO for the three remaining suspects.

Authorities later arrested Briggs and Christopher Smith, but are still searching for Johnson.

Anyone with information on Johnson's whereabouts is asked to contact the Fayetteville Police Department at (910)433-1856 or Crime Stoppers at (910)483-TIPS (8477).
