It happened at the Harbour Pointe Condominiums off Skibo Road shortly after 5 p.m.
The cause was not identified on Saturday, but officials believe it started on the third floor.
Authorities said one person had to be rescued from a first floor condominium, and two firefighters had to be treated on the scene for heat-related injuries.
The State Bureau of Investigation was called in to investigate.
