Public Policy Polling said Romney leads 48 percent to 46 - a gain of seven points on Obama since April, when the President led by a 49-44 margin. PPP said Romney's also increased his share of the Democratic vote from 15 percent to 20 percent, suggesting he's convincing some more conservative voters within the party to cross over.
