Fayetteville police are looking for the men who robbed a sweepstakes parlor Wednesday and pistol-whipped two men.

It happened around 6:30 a.m. at Little Vegas in the 2800-block of Owen Drive.

Police said two suspects enter the business, displayed handguns, assaulted an employee and a customer, took an undisclosed amount of money from the business.

Andy Floyd, a customer at the sweepstakes cafe, received five stitches in his head from being pistol whipped and robbed, but said this may have been one of the luckiest days of his life.

"He told us both to lay face down, and he was holding the gun and I said, 'Sir, please', I said, 'Please don't shoot me I got and a wife and please don't shoot me,'" said Floyd.

Floyd said the suspects repeatedly told them not to look at their faces, but the robbers didn't try to hide from security cameras. As he was being tied up, Floyd said one of the gunmen hit him in the head.

"I didn't know if I had been shot or he had hit me because I couldn't tell because I blacked out for two or three seconds, came back around and felt blood running down my neck," said Floyd.

The other victim, an employee, was also pistol whipped, but didn't need medical treatment.

After the robbery, the suspects stole Floyd's vehicle as they left the scene.

The vehicle was a 2008 Chevy Colorado, dark blue in color with a matching truck bed cover. The vehicle also had an Alabama Crimson Tide sticker in the rear window and silver trim on the exterior of the vehicle.

One suspect is described as:

  • Black male, early 20s

  • Between 5' 8" and 5' 10" tall

  • Medium skin tone

  • Close cut haircut and short facial hair
