Raleigh Police arrested a man Tuesday who they said robbed the Wells Fargo Bank on West Millbrook Road Monday.

Forty-two-year-old Sean Elliot Whitaker was taken into custody Tuesday morning at a motel in the 6600-block of Glenwood Avenue.

He was charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and was taken to the Wake County Jail.

Officials said the robbery happened shortly after 12:30 p.m. Monday when a robber passed a note to a teller that implied he had a weapon. The teller complied with the demand.

Surveillance cameras captured the incident.
