Emergency workers performed CPR on a teen at a north Raleigh pool Friday.

It happened in the 3900 block of Wake Forest Road just before noon at the Montecito West apartment complex.

Apparently two brothers were trying to cool off when one of them nearly drowned. The older brother managed to pull his younger sibling from the pool and performed CPR to save his life.

Pictures from Chopper 11 showed the boy sitting up and talking to emergency workers on a stretcher before he was loaded into an ambulance.

There's no word on his condition.
