Pedestrian struck by car in Durham

A pedestrian was rushed to the hospital after a car hit him.

It happened around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday at Alston and Eva streets, near downtown Durham.

The force of the crash caused the car's windshield to shatter.

Another person was also taken to the hospital. He was a passenger in the car. Police believe flying glass hit him.

There's no word on the pedestrian's condition.
