Three juveniles escape

The juveniles identified as, "Demaurea," last initial "G.", "Kivontae," last initial "B.", and "Akeem," last initial "M." were last seen at the Stonewall Jackson Youth Development Center.

The North Carolina Department of Public Safety said Friday that three juveniles escaped from one of its facilities near Charlotte.

The full names of the teens were not given, but their pictures were released.

The juveniles identified as, "Demaurea," last initial "G.", "Kivontae," last initial "B.", and "Akeem," last initial "M." were last seen at the Stonewall Jackson Youth Development Center, 850 Holshouser Rd. Concord, around midnight Friday morning.

Officials said they were concerned about the safety of the teens and the public.

Anyone who sees the trio is asked to call local law enforcement.
