The Mitt Romney campaign said Tuesday that he will stop in Morrisville Sunday.

The campaign website shows he will stop at Smokey's BBQ Shack on Chapel Hill Road at 4 p.m.

The event is part of the "Romney Plan for a Stronger Middle Class" bus tour which begins on Saturday in Virginia, then on Sunday rolls through North Carolina.

On Monday, Romney heads to Florida before heading to Ohio on Tuesday.

The Republican presidential hopeful will stump with Va. Gov. Bob McDonnell, Fla. Sen. Marco Rubio, and Ohio Sen. Rob Portman. All three men have been the subject of media guesswork as potential running mates for Romney.

Romney will also visit Mooresville and High Point.
