North Carolina Central University has concluded its investigation into hazing allegations specific to the drum line of the Marching Sound Machine band.

The investigation determined that members participated in activities that violated the NCCU Student Code of Conduct, but officials lifted the suspension Tuesday.

All 36 members of the drum line must serve a one game suspension that is retroactive and complete 10 hours of community service. The drum line must also attend a hazing prevention workshop.

From now on, staff must supervise all practice sessions, section meetings, and practice facilities.
