On Sunday, police were called to Cape Fear Valley Hospital after a woman reported she was sexually assaulted around 11 p.m. Saturday night.
The 22 year old told officers that she was walking along Shaw Road, between Bragg Boulevard and Murchison Road, when an older model two-door sedan began to follow her.

She said at one point, a man got out of the car and approached her.
Authorities said the suspect restrained the victim, sexually assaulted her and then fled the scene in the sedan, which was being driven by another person.
The suspect was described as a light skin tone African American man with a muscular build.
