Two women facing charges in fatal shooting

Authorities in Fayetteville have arrested two women in connection with a fatal shooting.

The shooting happened at a home in the 6500 block of Wicklow Place just before 6:30 p.m. Friday.

When police arrived, they found 43-year-old Bobby Lamar Boose with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center where he later died.

On Saturday, police arrested 25-year-old Myeisha Brown and 26-year-old Michele Butler and charged them with first degree murder, first degree kidnapping, robbery with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy. Both women are being held at the Cumberland County Detention Center.

Boose's death is still under investigation. Homicide detectives are currently working to identify a third suspect involved in the incident.
