Eleven $1M Powerball winners in NJ and Pa.; 1 in Montco

But eight of the tickets in New Jersey and three in Pennsylvania matched five numbers to win $1 million.

The Pennsylvania Lottery says $1 million tickets were sold at the following locations:

  • Swaraj Service Station, 1700 Seventh Ave., Altoona, Blair County
  • Planet Mart, 494 N. Pike Road, Cabot, Butler County
  • Sunoco, 330 E. Lancaster Ave., Wynnewood, Montgomery County

    Action News has confirmed that a group of ten people will split the winnings from the $1 million ticket purchased at the Sunoco in Wynnewood, Pa.

    Each winning ticket correctly matched all five white balls, 05-16-22-23-29, but not the red Powerball 06, to win a prize of $1 million, less 25 percent federal withholding.

    Each store that sold the winning tickets will receive a $5,000 bonus.

    In New Jersey, the lottery says 450,781 tickets sold in the Garden State are worth something. Two third tier prize winners, whose tickets won by Powerplay, earned $40,000 each. In addition, 29 third prize winners earned $10,000 each.

    In addition to the top tier prizes, 450,773 New Jersey Lottery players took home an estimated $2,745,161 in prizes ranging from $4 to $200.

    Two tickets were sold in Arizona and Missouri matched all six numbers to win the second largest top prize in U.S. lottery history.

    The numbers drawn Wednesday night are: 5, 16, 22, 23, 29 and Powerball of 6.
