Durham bank robbery suspect sought

Durham police are trying to track down a suspect in a Friday morning bank robbery.

The robbery happened just before 9:30 a.m. at the Wells Fargo bank in the 2000 block of West Main Street when a man walked into the bank demanding money.

The suspect was not armed and fled the scene after the crime. No one was injured.

The suspect is described as a black man in his 40s or 50s, standing 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall. He was wearing a light-colored jacket, dark pants and a ball cap.

No charges have been filed at this time.
