The accident happened just before 9 a.m. on Guess Road near Milton Road.

Officials said a white sedan driving north along Guess Road lost control and collided with a Jeep in the southbound lane.
Firefighters had to use special equipment to extricate the driver of the sedan from the vehicle. The unidentified 34-year-old woman did not survive.
The driver of the Jeep, and two children who were riding in the SUV, were taken to the hospital with unknown injuries. Their names and conditions have not been released.
Traffic at the intersection of Guess and Milton roads was blocked for several hours as authorities worked to clear the scene.
