Three arrested in robbery that stemmed lockdowns

Three men have been arrested in connection with an armed robbery that caused several schools to go on lockdown Wednesday.

The lockdown started around 10:15 a.m. and lasted less than 2 hours.

Forestville Road Elementary, Lockhart Elementary, Wendell Elementary School, Hodge Road Elementary School, East Wake High, East Wake Middle, Knightdale High, and Knightdale Elementary were put on a "Code Yellow" lockdown due to nearby police activity following the armed home-invasion in Knightdale.

Marcus Terrell Edrington, 21, and Iran Antonio Marcano, 23, have been charged with kidnapping, breaking and entering, and conspriousy robbery with a dangerous weapon.

Edrington is also facing charges of assualt with a dangerous weapon.

A third suspect, Ethan Jeffery Tyler Huff, 21, is charged with resisting a public officer and accessory after the fact.

Details surrounding the crime have not been released.
