It happened shortly before 2:45 p.m.
Police said a suspect walked into the bank and handed the teller a note. After taking an undisclosed amount of money from the business, the suspect fled on foot.
A firefighter was in the area and noticed the suspect fleeing the area and observed him get into a black vehicle and drive away.
The firefighter then called police and where able to provide a vehicle description.
Police officers were able to locate the vehicle and began a pursuit.
The vehicle came to a stop near the College Lakes Recreation Center and the two people inside fled on foot.
After a brief foot pursuit, police officers were able to apprehend both suspects and took them into custody.
