A family member told ABC11 that three teens were inside the home when one of them smelled smoke. Everyone made it out of the house safely, according to authorities.

It took fire crews about 45 minutes to get the blaze under control. The second floor of the home was heavily damaged by the blaze.

A preliminary investigation suggested that the fire may have originated from the chimney. An official cause of the fire has not been released.
