Two robbed at Pullen Park

Raleigh police are investigating a robbery in Pullen Park late Monday evening.

It happened in a parking lot at the park shortly before 10 p.m.

Police said two male victims of the robbery were approached by two suspects, at least one of whom was armed with a handgun.

Both suspects were described as black males, each standing about 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing about 165 pounds. They were wearing black hoodies and black jeans.

At least one gunshot was fired during the crime. However, neither victim was struck by gunfire.

Both victims were transported to the hospital. The extent of their injuries is unknown.

A vehicle belonging to one of the victims was stolen during the robbery but was located nearby a short time later.
