Man arrested in Raleigh golf community shooting

RALEIGH, N.C.

Kyle Stephen Anderson, 20, of Rock Drive, is charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, attempted robbery, and other charges.

According to arrest warrants, police suspect Anderson used an assault rifle to hold up two men in a car March 27 near a home in the 2300 block of Whistling Straits Way

During the robbery, 19-year-old Michael Bocock suffered a gunshot wound to the leg.

The robbery victims told investigators two men were involved in the holdup. Police said the investigation continues.
