Suspect arrested in Raleigh bank robbery

RALEIGH, N.C.

Officials said the suspect entered the SunTrust bank at 7320 Creedmoor Rd. shortly before 10 a.m. He passed a robbery note that said he was armed to a teller. After the teller complied with the note's demands, the suspect fled on foot.

Investigators were able to identify the suspect as 34-year-old Carlton Theodore Landis. Officials arrested Landis at a Burlington motel Tuesday evening.

He was taken to the Wake County Jail.
