Harris Teeter robbery suspect sought

RALEIGH

The robbery happened around 9:45 p.m. Tuesday when the suspect entered the Harris Teeter store in the 6000 block of Falls of Neuse Road.

After spending a short time in the store, police said the suspect approached a cashier and demanded money, implying he had a weapon.

After the cashier complied with the suspect's demand, he left the store.

The suspect is described as a black male with a thin build who stands about 5 feet 10 inches tall. He was said to be in his 20s to 30s, was clean shaven, and had short hair.

He was wearing a brown baseball cap, light-colored shirt, blue jeans, and black shoes.
