Murder in Henderson under investigation

A 25-year-old man was shot and killed in Henderson Saturday night, according to police.

Saturday around 8:48 p.m. officers responded to the 100 Block of Lincoln Street in reference to a motor vehicle collision and shots fired.

Officers found 25-year-old Ladarrius Talley, of Manson, N.C. inside the vehicle, suffering from a gunshot wound. The vehicle collided with a brick pillar and fence before coming to rest.

EMS arrived on scene and pronounced Talley deceased. An autopsy will be conducted by the Chief Medical Examiner's Office on Monday.
