Trucker accused of flashing school bus

APEX, N.C.

According to the Apex Police Department, the incident was reported by officials at Athens Drive High School on April 30.

An activity bus from the school was returning members of the girls soccer team on U.S. Highway 1 when the children aged 14-16 waved at a truck driver.

The teens said the truck driver slowed down, and then sped back up to the bus while waving his genitals at them.

The students reported what happened to the school bus driver who got the tag number of the truck. Police used the information to contact the trucking company to determine who was behind the wheel.

Police have now charged 60-year-old Kenneth Phillip Farthing of Bethel School Road in Sugar Grove with indecent exposure.

He posted bond and was released from the Wake County Jail.
