A Cumberland County man is facing charges after he allegedly broke into a school and stole lollipops.

Authorities arrested 20-year-old Justin Statton Files of Fayetteville this week after he reportedly used a rock to break a window at Howard Health and Life Sciences High School on Camden Road.

Once inside, according to the Sheriff's Office, Files took the candy and a blue colored ball - all valued at $3.20.

Deputies in the area arrested Files after they saw him running from the school and found the stolen items.

Files has been charged with felony breaking and entering, felony larceny after breaking and entering and possession of stolen goods. He is currently in the Cumberland County Detention Center under a $5,000 bond.
