Police said a man parked his car in the parking lot at 911 Fayetteville Street and went into a business on Friday at 2:25 p.m.
The suspect took the blue Chevrolet Impala, which had two children inside.
The suspect apparently dropped the children off in front of a business in the 1000 block of East Pettigrew Street. They were both unharmed.
Police later located the vehicle in the 3700 block of Angier Avenue.
No one in custody at this time.
