Michael Scott Hamilton, 31 was charged with attempted murder for allegedly beating his ex-girlfriend with a baseball bat in May.
Joshua Wayne Fisher, 24 of Roanoke Rapids is facing charges related to helping Hamilton leave the scene of the crime and obstructing the investigation, according to deputies.
Joshua Brandon Dickens, 21 and Christopher Leon Mason, 38 were also arrested for obstructing the investigation.
Authorities said 43- year-old Carol Harris Clemmons was arrested for communicating threats to Hamilton's ex-girlfriend.
All four suspects are scheduled to appear in court on June 12.
