Teacher resigns amid allegations she encouraged bullying in class

ZEBULON, N.C.

The school system told the ABC11 I-Team that the teacher, Marsha Story, resigned late last week after being on paid suspension for about a month.

Toward the end of the school year at Zebulon G.T. Magnet Elementary, one of Story's first grade students came home with hateful letters, written by his classmates. One of those letters even wished him dead.

The boy's mother filed a complaint with the school system, alleging that Story had put the students up to it.

Story was suspended the next day, and resigned last Thursday.
