Arrest made in Duke Gardens robberies

DURHAM

Officers arrested 20-year-old Tamisha Thompson after a traffic stop Thursday night on North Roxboro Road. She was a passenger in the car.

She is charged with four counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon and other crimes.

Police say they are still looking for her partner in crime, 20-year-old Denshawn Thompson.

Investigators believe the two are behind two attacks at the Duke Gardens on July 15 and July 25.

Authorities say they were armed with a knife and gun during the robberies.

Tamisha Thompson is being held on a $1 million bond.
