Selma bank robbery suspect sought

The search is on for a man who held up a bank in downtown Selma Wednesday afternoon.

A surveillance photo from First Citizens Bank shows the man approaching the teller with a note demanding money around 1:30 p.m.

The teller gave the man cash, and he left the bank.

No weapon was shown.

The suspect was last seen running away toward Anderson Street.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 30 years of age, 6 foot tall, with a light skin complexion. He was wearing a black hat with writing on the left side, black or dark blue v-neck shirt, sunglasses, and blue sweatpants with paint stains.
