To make repairs, the water pressure had to be reduced in the area to the point that a boil water advisory has been issued.
Affected areas include Highland Vista Apartments, Mt. Energy Road, Moss Hayes Road, Sam Moss Hayes Road (from Moss Hayes Road to Robertson Creek), and Granville Drive and the subdivisions of Golden Pond, Paddington, and Southerby's .
Officials advise water customers to vigorously boil all water used for human consumption for one minute (including drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, and making ice) or use bottled water.
